Deep Blue Diving

In the last five years, an increasing number of humpback whales have been found to mate and give birth in Tongatapu and ‘Eua waters. The calm and shallow waters here is safe grounds for their newborn calves to build up blubber for tthe long journey back. Whales are first sighted here in the two most southern islands of Tongatapu and ‘Eua on their annual migration route from Antarctica to the Kingdom. Similarly they are sighted last here when they journey back south in October – November. Our longer season enables our friendly local crew to take the time and patience, to get you up close for an unforgettable personal encounter.
