Facts about the MA60 Aircraft

  • The MA60 has been in production since the early 2000’s.
  • There have been 77 MA60s built to date, with another 64 on order.
  • The MA60 aircraft has over 120,000 flying hours with 70,000 takeoffs and landings.
  • The MA60 is the first aircraft model built in full accordance with China’s airworthiness certification regulations for civil aviation aircraft, which are essentially a replica of European and American standards.

Because of this international standard, the aircraft uses many components to meet airworthiness standards. The MA60 uses the Pratt & Whitney PW127J engines (Canadian). The propellers are Hamilton all-composite Propellers (USA), and the communications system is an AlliedSignal KHF950. The automatic driving system is a Collins APS-85 (USA) , and the auxiliary power unit is a Garrett Company APU (USA).
