‘Eua island’s The Hideaway.

The Hideaway, secluded in a peaceful location on the ocean’s edge and surrounded by sandy beaches, is a real “Hideaway”. We have no neighbours but still only a 5 min drive to main town Ohonua and a 5 min walk to an old Tongan village called Tufuvai. The Hideaway is a Tongan style mid-range budget accommodation with a bar and restaurant. We are a local ‘Eua/Tongan family run business, meaning you really get a Tongan cultural, family experience together with all the nature adventure based activities. We are very proud of our home island ‘Eua and we are very passionate about looking after our visitors. The Hideaway has 8 rooms with private facilities and hot water. A BIG bonus attraction for the Hideaway is in the months of July to November when the Humpback whales are here in Tonga for there breeding season, you can watch these beautiful creatures from right in front of your Hideaway accommodation or our whale watch/dolphin platform which is located on the oceans edge. These whale sighting from the Hideaway are on a very regular daily basis averaging 4 sightings daily every day for about 4 months!! The Hideaway has a very relaxed, low key atmosphere where you actually interact with the staff and management on a personal level.
