Green Lodge

A small local family business to promote eco-tourism, Christian and family values. Located in the midst of a typical Tongan village, yet convenient, quiet and private. Safely situated inland that it cannot be reached by the strongest tsunami. Located at 2 ends of the same village, with one approx. five minutes to the centre of Nuku’alofa and a stone throw away from the lagoon, Vaiola Hospital, the Tonga National Cultural Centre, the museum and the flea market. Fully furnished houses for visiting families and groups. A total of 4 holiday homes with the smallest house offering 91.4 square meters of floor area plus an additional 10 square meters of deck space. When you only pay T$120 per night to be with your loved ones in your own quality private house, that is surely a royal Tongan treat that will keep your budget on the Green. 13 spacious rooms with beds for a total of 20 adults. Screened, hot water, fans, TV, refrigerator and cooking facilities. Internet connection is available and activated and used at users costs. We also offer houses plus car / van as a package. We rent holiday homes / houses, not rooms. Off season rates in Tongan $ follows: An adult travelling alone can have an entire house for T$80 per night or about NZ$67. Two persons or a couple travelling together can have a house for T$100 per night. Three people travelling together can have a house for T$120 per night. Rates for bigger groups can be negotiated We also have package for a house plus a 6 seater Toyota Hi-ace van for visiting families and groups and a car for single travellers and couples. Peak Season Rates (Nov – Jan) T$150 per 3 bedroom house for 1-3 adults / T$200 per 4 bedroom house for 1 – 4 adults T$50 per adult for 4 and more adults in the 3 bedroom houses and T$50 per adult for 5 and more adults in the 4 bedroom house. A deposit of 20% is to be made to our ANZ account in NZ or Tonga in order to confirm bookings and hold a house. Rates for bigger groups can be negotiated
