NZ Tonga Business Council 'Fetapa' News Update
We’re now heading into the Christmas season and for many businesses we’re preparing for the festive holiday, having staff Christmas functions; some have even started planning for the New Year.
It’s been a good year and we did our best with what capacity we had to achieve many of our goals set out in our February planning day. We have identified as a voluntary bilateral business Council how we can be more effective towards positive change for trade relations and investment between New Zealand and Tonga.
Of course more work can be done, more research to be conducted and more businesses to engage with as we move forward. The Council continues to closely work with both NZ and Tonga’s governments to mitigate key issues and concerns around barriers to trade particularly out of Tonga.
As we approach the festive season and warmer weather it’s time to take stock of what we have achieved and what we will develop for 2013.
Once again, thank you for supporting and contributing towards the success of the Council. Have a great festive break and bring on 2013!
